What are Limited Detail Comps?

Limited Detail Comps (LDCs) are lease comps that don’t yet meet the full data requirements for a standard CompStak comp—but still contain valuable information like rent, tenant name, address, and square footage. 

We created LDCs so you can track market activity sooner, even if some deal details (like lease term) haven’t been crowdsourced yet. 

Here is how you can view LDCs:

1. On the Leases List View, navigate to the “Limited Detail Comps” or “All Comps” tab to view LDCs. 

2. Click on the Limited Detail Comp you wish to view to open its details. 

3. All Limited Detail Comps feature a yellow banner indicating that it is a Limited Detail Comp, and a caution icon with the label “Not available” will appear where the data is missing.

4. You can export LDCs the same way you export regular full comps. 

• On the PDF export, the LDC features a yellow tag at the top of the comp. 

• Your Excel export may include one or two tabs, labeled “Limited Detail Comps” and “Full Comps,” depending on the contents of your export.
